DNS Configuration for Windows 95/98
For your Internet connection to work
you need to have your DNS configuration set up correctly. The DNS configuration can be accessed by double-clicking on "My Computer", then double-clicking "Dial-up Networking", and then right click once on your connection (it will probably be named TRX or TRX Inc.), and choose Properties from the menu. Depending on the version of Windows you have, you will either have a button or a tab that is labeled "Server Types", click that button or tab. Once there you will find a button called "TCP/IP Settings", click that button. A window will come up outlining your current TCP/IP properties. You should be set for "Specify Name Server Addresses", if not click the small white circle next to it (if you circle has a dot already, it is already active). Then enter the numbers below for primary and secondary DNS numbers. Also you want to make sure that your computer is set to Server assigned IP address, if it is not, change it. When completed click the OK button until you are out to the main "Dial-Up Networking" window. Then close this window and re-boot your system.| Primary DNS Server | 207.140.240.250 |
| Secondary DNS Server | 207.140.240.249 |
